Customer education: does it improve retention and demand?

Evidence from a field experiment

Mode: Online

Presenter: German Fernando Retana

Managing your customer retention rate is an incredibly important part of growing a sustainable business, and a great strategy to increase retention is to educate. When you offer a product or service, the last thing you want to do is leave customers to fend for themselves after they've signed up, they appreciate when the company offers guidance on how to use their product.

In this webinar, professor German Fernando Retana will talk about how proactive education can help customer retention and demand. He analyzes the outcome of a field experiment executed by a major public cloud infrastructure services provider.

For his research, Retana has worked with the business intelligence team of one of the most important global suppliers of infrastructure services in the cloud, and has also presented his work to academics and industry executives in multiple forums worldwide.
